ABOUT ME
Forged in the eternal heat of California’s Central Valley, tempered in the plains of the frigid Midwest, and refined in the shadow of Utah's Wasatch mountains, Micah sometimes wishes he hadn't watched Lord of the Rings so many times.
My name is Micah J Bauer. I grew up in Fresno, California swimming, playing unhealthy amounts of video games and watching lots of bad action movies. During my high school years I spent most of my time avoiding eye contact with the popular kids and riding my BMX bike. After graduating I spent a couple of years in the Midwest meeting interesting folks and visiting impressive historical landmarks like the Corn Palace in Mitchell, SD.
I went to school at BYU in Utah where I met my super hot (and easily embarrassed) Canadian wife, Bess. While working on a degree in English I stumbled into graphic design and instantly knew it was the profession I had been looking for. After a ridiculous amount of work I was accepted into the program and eventually received a BFA in graphic design. Today we live in Springville Utah with our four hilarious kids.
